I had an episode of illness back in 2016, terminating with the amputation of some of my extremities, this added to my Heart failure and Kidney failure and their various complications led to my imobility resulting in recent years of needing mobility aids and the increasing need for assistance. My mobility was always an issue.
In 2024, I decided to concerntrate on providing help for those less able through no fault of their own and bring together all the resources I could find that were perhaps hidden, or at least not easy to find by some.
This resulted in this website, blog and YouTube channel documenting easy ways to get help and assistance, to travel and see the world without restrictions.

I'll update this blog and my YouTube videos every week. Trains, Airlines, Cruise ships and public transport are becomming increasingly aware of transport for those less able and are making provision, working hard for us including training for their staff to make our journies and smooth and as comfortable as possible. Things to look out for, I just completed a 2 week holiday in Norway on a cruise and have another planned for November to the Canary Islands, a 39 day trip to the Caribbean via a cruise for January and another to the Azores in October '25, if I can do it, so can you. 30th May 2024
Travelling By Train 9/07/2024
Travelling by train is easier than ever with the Network Rail App, Passenger Assist. No fee, and a simple app allows you to inform the rail companies of your plans. They [with just 2 hours notice] escourt you to your chosen train, locate your seat, aid and assist you onto the train and carry up to 3 pcs of luggage for you. As you depart, they will radio ahead to your destination and inform that station of your carriage number and position, then help you off and to the exit or Taxi rank, or to your connecting train, all free of charge. I have used this system many times and always found the staff to be mega helpful, reliable and friendly.
